Ridley Scott’s “The Dog Stars” Adds Margaret Qualley, Josh Brolin, and Guy Pearce to Cast

A top-tier cast is assembling for Ridley Scott’s “The Dog Stars.” Margaret Qualley, Josh Brolin, and Guy Pearce are in final talks to join Jacob Elordi in the 20th Century Studios film. Scott will produce with Michael Pruss, Mark L. Smith, and Cliff Roberts. The film reunites Scott with Brolin and Pearce.

Margaret Qualley’s impressive filmography continues to grow. Following her acclaimed performance in the Oscar-nominated “The Substance,” she’s added “Kinds of Kindness” and “Drive Away Dolls” to her credits, and will soon be seen opposite Glen Powell in “Huntington” and “Honey Don’t.”

Josh Brolin’s upcoming projects include “Wake Up Dead Man” (the third “Knives Out” film) and “The Running Man” (currently filming). He recently starred in “Dune: Part Two” and is well-known for playing Thanos in the “Avengers” films. His diverse credits also include “Milk” (Oscar nomination), “True Grit,” “No Country for Old Men,” “W.,” “American Gangster,” “Sicario,” and “Inherent Vice.”

Guy Pearce is currently enjoying a career high with his Oscar-nominated performance in A24’s “The Brutalist,” where he stars opposite Adrien Brody.
